Temporary intersection closure at Whitney Rd and Dell Range Blvd in Cheyenne

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Crews with Simon Contractors will close the intersection of Whitney Road and Dell Range Boulevard to complete a water line adjustment. 

The closure will begin Monday, August 24, and is anticipated to last a couple of weeks. 

A signed detour will be in effect for the duration of the closure. Eastbound traffic on Dell Range Blvd will be redirected to College Drive, then onto U.S. Highway 30. From Highway 30, drivers will continue onto Christensen Road, then onto Four Mile Road. Westbound traffic will follow the same detour but in the reverse order. 

Motorists are encouraged to obey all posted signs, flaggers, and other traffic control devices, and avoid distractions such as cell phones while driving through work zones. 

All WYDOT project scheduling is subject to change, including due to adverse weather or material availability.
