City and County of Broomfield Tap Water Named "Best-Tasting" in the Rocky Mountain Region

The City and County of Broomfield (CCOB) Water Utilities staff has secured the back-to-back title for "Best-Tasting Water" at the 18th Annual Rocky Mountain Water Taste Test Competition, hosted by the Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association. Outscoring 12 competing municipal water utilities across Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico in a rigorous blind evaluation of taste, smell, appearance and overall impression, CCOB earned top marks. Qualifying for the regional contest required a pristine compliance record with zero state or federal drinking water quality violations over the past year. As the regional champion, CCOB advances to represent the Rocky Mountain region at the national American Water Works Association (AWWA) "Best of the Best" Taste Test.
